Best Western Plus Victoria Inn & Suites

Joey at the front desk tried to tell me that service animals are not allowed here. When I asked to see this on their website or in writing, I was put on hold and then told I could bring my service dog. Angel at the front desk told me that the hotel was fully out of pillows. I am very pregnant and needed a pillow. She told me she could give me a blanket but they didn't have any pillows at all. Microwave in the room doesn't work. Lights flicker when using blow-dryer. Update: next day, coming up from grabbing my family breakfast, saw a room with cleaning supplies, blankets, and easily 10-15 pillows. I walked in to grab a pillow. Needed a clean quiet place to stay while attending a funeral. This hotel was perfect. Easy to get to. Clean, big room, quiet. And the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful when we ran out of hand soap. He immediately came & installed a new dispenser. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Best western Why be in the hospitality business if you don't want to be hospitable? Over all it's a 2.5 Hotel rooms were just ok, could be much cleaner and up to date.. no bar of soap in bathroom, towels are frayed and the pool towels we were given were old stained bathroom towels.. furniture had holes in the upholstery, bathtub faucet when switched into shower mode did not work well at all, and the water was constantly leaking from the faucet. GM said he gave maintenance the holiday off but then he said they came to turn off the hot tub.. this is simple and slightly silly, but we specifically pick hotels with hot tubs because we enjoy using them as a family. We've enjoyed our past stays with Plus. This time, not so much. We booked online, no problem. Front desk, no problem. Got to our room, not what we paid for. When my wife went down to inquire, desk guy tried to convince her to keep the room. Mattresses were kinda blown out. Rough blankets. Small parking lot. We'll probably cash in our free room thing, then stick with IHG.
