Best Western Plus Sugar Land/Stafford

Sean, the front desk person is wonderful! I came in looking for a place to stay after canceling a reservation at another hotel due to it's condition. Sean was more than accommodating and understanding of my situation. He let me see a room to ensure I would be happy with the accommodations here. The hotel is recently renovated and it checked all the boxes. This is a great place to stay, it's close to shopping and the freeway!

I was there in October and November. On both occasions, the receptionist was excellent. An excellent and quiet location. Not particularly satisfied with the smell in the hallway/elevator. The room size was just ok. I am not a breakfast person, so I can't speak to that. My only concern is the fact that on both occasions, I never got my $35.00 refundable deposit on checkout. I have reached out to them and was informed to contact my bank, which I did, and the bank informed me that no such refund was made. I am still waiting for my money.

Positive: Overall it was a good hotel. If you look for imperfections you will find it. Negative: The steamer to iron clothes was dirty the ppl before ruin it by steaming a sticker or something like that. The restroom didn't have a fan to help with the steam of the shower.

My stay was fantastic. Everyone here is so nice and kind. Especially Johnny was super friendly and went above and beyond for my kiddos. Place was super clean. Room was clean. Breakfast had a variety. I absolutely love the mirror in the bathroom as it had lights around it..making it bright and great for selfies lol. Overall, great experience. Quiet. There went people loitering around. Felt safe.

Hotel was mediocre at best. The air conditioning was unreliable but we were told the trick to get it to operate. Beds were not real comfortable and the breakfasts were disappointing. Thank goodness for waffles! The same bowl of bananas came out daily, getting browner and browner until they weren't edible. They were never replaced. There's really not much in walking distance and no sidewalks out on the street so you really need a car to grab a bite to eat. While the rooms were clean, it appeared they were swept daily out into the hallways and then the hallways vacuumed once or twice during our one week stay. One night, while returning to the room, there was a roach racing the hallway. Ick..When I see food being kept too long and then the roach, it makes me hesitate to eat any of the other b
