Best Western Plus Sanford Airport/Lake Mary Hotel

Positive: Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good with waffles, hot sausage links and scrambled eggs. Pretty good for free breakfast Negative: My smoke alarm was hanging out of the wall. Air conditioner had a little trouble keeping room cool. (We were having a heatwave, so that could have been the issue)

Great hotel amazing staff! Shuttle program is really good and dependable. Very very good staff. We flew out of sanford orlando airport and this place is great. Clean, safe, value, breakfast, wifi, free parking. And most importantly a great value. Very nice room recently remodeled and nice furniture and comfy mattress!

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to book this motel, even though I use Best Western whenever possible. It was close to the airport though, so I finally decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. It's an older hotel but I found it clean and very comfortable. The pool was nice, the room was clean. It had a few quirks, like the air conditioner was loud and the toilet ran loud and often. But nothing overly disturbing. The beds were very comfortable. The area is a business district but I did not feel unsafe at all, even walking around after dark with my grandson. Leanne at the front desk was amazing. Would stay here again for sure.

Disgusting hotel. The smell of mold is so strong it will make your nose and eyes burn and your throat hurt. The hallways look like they haven't seen a vacuum in weeks. The breakfast area was unclean as well. Multiple water leaks in our room from the bath tub. Water was pouring out in between the wall from the bathtub into the closet. I have no idea how this place is open for business.

We had a great stay at the Best Western Plus Sanford Airport/Lake Mary Hotel. The location is very convenient—only about a 6-minute drive to SFB airport, which was perfect since we had an early flight. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Although we missed breakfast due to our early departure, everything else about the stay was very good. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and even checked with us to see if we needed the airport shuttle, which was much appreciated. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, making it a convenient spot overall. Would definitely stay here again.
