SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orlando North/Sanford

A great hotel location but facilities are in need of updating. Outside has been updated but rooms, furniture, fixtures are quite dated and showed wear. Room was clean, just very dated. Shower fixture in my particular room definitely needed replacing but everything else was functional. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Location near lots of restaurants and close to Sanford airport.

Staff incredible, location is central and perfect. The product here should have been retired to Motel 6 or Days Inn by now. Carpet room tiles dirty and need of replacement; bathroom had sewage smell; lighting so dim you can barely put in contacts; a/c and bathroom fan both noisy; furniture outdated. It just did not feel clean or worthy of SpringHill name especially given price paid. Breakfast was solid and again staff incredible…not their fault.

Positive: We greatly appreciated the excellent location, the helpful staff, and the flexibility they offered following our cruise. Negative: The only challenge we encountered was the construction on the 5th floor, which restricted elevator availability, caused frequent fire alarm activations, and resulted in general noise and disturbance.

The hotel is on the verge of bad. The people were fine, but the facilities are on the borderline. The floors in the elevator are bad, the carpets are all stained and in need of replacement.|The beds are well worn. The bathroom also needed an update. ||Very tired hotel. ||The Marriott site should have a section of when the hotel was last renovated to be a better filter. Never would have stayed here if I knew the condition.

The people working at this hotel are outstanding. Everyone went out of their way to assist us, providing dinner recommendations and support when I lost my glasses. I cannot say enough positive comments about the people. Thank you, Felecia.
