Best Western Plus Monterey Inn

The front desk staff that checked us in, were very friendly & informative. The rooms are ok, however the beds are very comfortable. There is no AC, so the room is very hot. There is a ceiling fan & a sliding door to open up for cooler air. The location is great. You are close to downtown, the wharf, cannery row, freeway access etc. There is a non heated swimming pool & a nice little jacuzzi which we got to use during our stay. Breakfast was alright, eggs were a bit watery. The dining space is very small, so if you plan to eat there, got to wake up early. Ice machine is only on the 1st & 3rd floor, so if you're on the 2nd floor, you know what that means.. Free coffee & hot chocolate in the lobby. A lot of ppl talked about the thin walls & hearing others, but it wasn't that bad in my opinion

This hotel is located very close to the Asilomar conference grounds- I was attending a conference there. The breakfast is very so-so but I really liked the rooms. They were comfortable and well appointed. Each “room” consisted of 2 rooms and a bathroom. There were two beds, one in each room and a door between them. If you are a family of 4, you would be very comfortable. This hotel was value for money for a family of 4.

Positive: The room was very spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. Negative: The only thing that would make this hotel better would be if it was located on the beach.

Clean rooms. Rooms don't have microwaves which was unexpected. There is one in the lobby and u will need to take ur food there to warm it up. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Lobby has a hot chocolate & cuppocino machine that was great. Front desk was always helpful even at late hours. Pleasant stay!

The hotel is fine for Thru travelers but MOT recommended for longer than 1 night stays … The below review is for Room 214 … Whats‘ good? The location is probably the best - easy access to freeways, especially southbound towards Big Sur and Highway 1. It provides easy access as well to 17 Mile Road and The parking garage is also very comfortable. Whats‘s not so good? 1. TV is poor - its some kind of weird subscription without any pf the known cable TV channels (eg. no CNN, BBC, CNBC, etc); just some locals, very obscene TV news channel; make sure to bring your laptop with any streaming subscriptions you might have. 2.
