Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort

I lost my car keys in the hotel room at check out. I tired to call but they just put you on hold long enough to make it seem accidental! I just want to know if anyone turned in my keys. ?I mean simple yes no is fine. But just 150% rude that a prior guest calls about possibly someone turning in a set of keys with a big Jeep keychain on it I mean, I think if I could've asked the question instead of getting hung up on six times and waiting 30 minutes on hold in between I might've gotten my answers. I hate when people just disregard you like you're not as important as someone else to the woman who hung up on me three times after holding 15 minutes each time and then the other woman that did it three times to me also thank you both even when I was there, the front desk people were ignorant go t

I organized the stay in hotel for international event. Not being a Miami resident, I was nervous, especially after reading negative reviews. However, upon our arrival we were treated like royalty. The hotel room were kept clean and even when we declined morning cleaning, the lady came back in the afternoon. Breakfast people were very friendly and welcoming. Overall very pleasant experience altogether. Also liked beach and pool area. Everything is clean, plenty of towels, beach chairs with umbrellas were available as part of resort fee. Positive: I stayed in the beachfront balcony room facing the beach, the view was spectacular! Negative: The Temperature of the room was hard to control probably because of old windows that where not insulated. Bathroom door was messed up and kept locking itself. doorframe to the room was loose in the wall making the door hard to lock. Room wasnt soundproof

Do NOT stay here. Worst experience we have ever had. Walls appeared to be peeling, rusty, and moldy. Shower curtain wasnt long enough so all the shower water went on the floor. I killed a roach in my room. The T.V. didnt work at all, they sent someone up to "fix it". She tickled the t.v. and left without saying anything so we had No T.V. the entire time. Breakfast was not worth the price either. Lots of cheaper better breakfast in walking distance. We booked our room in advance, they changed our room from king bed to double bed without even asking or telling us. We spent hours calling all sorts of different number to get it fixed and spoke with over 5 people from 3 different numbers just to get it solved. Great location on the beach. Outdoor pool near the beach and beach trail with direct access. Beach chairs are in cluded in the resort fee. Came from a cruise so arrived very early and they held luggage and completed all but room keys for check in at that time. Room was available around 1 PM. Room 625, mildly dated, but comfortable with a great ocean view from the large window and balcony. Coffeemaker, blow dryer, safe, fridge/freezer, iron/board in room. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
