Best Western Plus Amarillo East Hotel

This hotel is pretty new , the rooms are very spacious and the furniture is new and nice. Unfortunately, our room came with a clogged toilet and looked like it had been cleaned in under 10 minutes. There was hair on most of the furniture, everything on the floor had been swept into the main hallway carpeting and not vacuumed. The bathroom shower had not been cleaned or cleaned properly in a long time. This hotel could be great if the staff or corporate management actually committed to doing a good job.

We usually stay at another hotel when passing through Amarillo but this time we were heading East. This location is really nice. We have a dog and pet rooms are on the second floor. Our room was really clean and spacious. Plenty of room for a large crate. The shower was a walk in with a rain showerhead. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was standard BW fare and was hot and amply supplied. We probably stay here again on our return trip.

Decent hotel. There are other options outside of Wyndham as I'm not a big fan of the properties but this was a decent surprise. Also, this is a great place for EV drivers to stay. Its free charging so stroll in with a low SOC and enjoy the top up. There's an ATT, Verizon, and T-Mobile tower pointing directly at the hotel across the street so every carrier works incredibly well in the hotel and rooms. So much so you might as well not use the wifi

Good place to stay. There are many restaurants nearby at walking distance. Rooms were clean. The housekeeping staff cleaned the rooms and toilets daily. They provided fresh towels everyday. They had decent options for the breakfast buffet. I hope they fix the WiFi problem soon.
