Best Western Palestine Inn

The floor in the room was not clean. It was sticky and gritty. The bathroom bathtub/shower had a used bar of soap, a dirty washcloth draped over the curtain rod and a womens razor in the top corner of the shower wall. The tub had grit on floor. The air conditioner is so loud we couldn't have a conversation nor could we hear the television. When housekeeping serviced the room, all they did was empty the trash cans. We didn't get fresh towels nor did they make the bed. This hotel is not up the Best Western standards. We were very disappointed.

Positive: The location was OK. Negative: Old, dirty, and a motel, not a hotel. Pillows smelled like marijuana. There was trash behind the night stand, hair on the shower wall, and still a used towel on the floor of the bathroom.

Upon checking in, the phone does not work, television doesn't work, the refrigerator door is missing all of the of the racks that holds items in place and I was welcomed with an open used bar of soap. Supposed to be a non-smoking but the room smelled like smoke.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. East check in and out. Amazing breakfast at the cafe. Will definitely go back again.

Stayed here thinking we’d be able to work while I’m the room using the free WiFi that they advertise. This was not the case. There was no internet available. I called the office and they said they would call me back with some kind of answer. 10 minutes later there’s a knock on our door. Turns out the phones don’t even work here so she was unable to call me back, so she had to walk to our room to tell us that the internet should be working. I told her the phone doesn’t even work so I’m not surprised the internet doesn’t work either.
