Best Western Lubbock West Inn & Suites

Definitely will not ever be back here and honestly I think this place needs to be shut down and completely revamped. Before I get into the room and hotel (It’s absolutely disgusting), we had reserved a suite with a balcony online and fully paid for it then…Upon check in, we find out our room was given away (what is the point of having reservations if they are going to be given away…?) and we were put into room that was not in the description of what we reserved. Floors throughout lobby and hallways were dirty. We get to our room and it had very clearly not been cleaned in a while. The floors were stained and sticky and had A LOT of hair on them. Definitely recommend this hotel. Our king suite was perfect. Large bedroom, bathroom, separate living area. Full size frig, cooktop, microwave. Even a great balcony with comfy chairs, overlooking the pool. |Quiet, clean property. |Friendly check in.|Great hot breakfast.|Very reasonable price!|Wish we could have stayed longer.

Positive: Staff was friendly Negative: The cleanliness of the bathroom. I have pictures of the tub, but the white caulking was cracked and black in sports (dirty). There was mildew stains on the tub near the drain and in the water spigot. I am happy to provide pictures if needed.

This was one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I’ve ever experienced. When I entered the room, it was immediately obvious that it had not been properly cleaned. The bed had visible hairs and what appeared to be blood stains on the sheets, which made it seem like the bedding had not been changed. The sofa and carpet had crumbs and stains, and the windows were covered in an extreme amount of dirt and buildup. The room overall felt very unsanitary. I also found a bug in the room, which added to the concern about the lack of cleanliness and maintenance. I have stayed here before because I like the size of the king suites. The suite size is around the size of a studio with a large bathroom...I must say it has changed A LOT. The room was not properly cleaned, all surfaces from the countertops in the kitchen, the breakfast bar, the vanity bathroom were all sticky with water stains and the dresser was dusty. Every mirror was streaked with water stains and every floor was sticky. Good thing I always bring shower shoes and slippers. There were several stains on the carpet, the toilet was running and leaking water; then the bathtub was rusted, paint peeling and visibly dirty.
