Best Western Inn Tooele

I was glad to find this hotel in the Salt Lake City area. It was outside the busy downtown area, quiet, family-friendly, clean, updated, reasonably priced. A delightful stay. Breakfast options included eggs/sausage/waffles/fruit/oatmeal/|yogurt/bread/bageis/plus more. We did use the pool one evening. The hot tub was not operational and there is no elevator for access to the second floor so if these are important needs of yours, you might want to seek other accommodation. We were very happy with the hotel, though.

The stay started great. Good check in like normal. Room was ok for how old the hotel is. The next day however was another story. My wife took a shower and heard someone banging on our door. When she got out of the shower and answered the door she was met with 2 staff members yelling at her that she was flooding the conference room... what a great way to handle a situation you didnt know you made? There was no water on the floor in the bathroom, no leaks that were visible. Very unprofessional to yell at your guest for something they had no control over. They moved us to a new room that smelled HEAVILY of cigarette smoke. You couldn't escape it. When We told the staff, they asked what did we want them to do like it wasn't a problem. We told them we just didnt want to charged for the smell. T

Surprisingly nice place. Rooms were clean, even if dated. Beds were firm without big dips, which is good for me. Shower was hot, good pressure. A number of restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was ok, I did not love that they changed the main offerings each day, but it wasn't bad. I would definitely go back.

Surprisingly great. It looks to be a mid-century motel that was renovated with a new front and roof over the courtyard (now a pool and hut tub). Perfect for a business trip this far out of SLC. The only other viable options were a shockingly expensive Holiday Inn or a 40 minute drive. Clean and comfortable rooms. Quiet. Nice staff. There is a coffee shop, bar, and other day-to-day retail needs nearby.
