The motel is located at an exit from I-81, one exit west of I-83, and is close to several restaurants. there is a stop light to help getting in and out. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I found the couch difficult to sit on as I kept sliding off, and wondered if this was because it was new and the cushions were stiff. My husband had not problem with the couch. The room was quiet, though I can't say if the rooms on the other side get interstate road noise. There was no problem with the air conditioner/heater. Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast and kept well supplied. The motel is currently undergoing renovations but this did not impact our stay.

I was in town for a volunteer assignment. At first glance the hotel is clean. That was just the lobby, I came to find out. First, I when I walked in the room (326) the shower door was laying up against the wall in the entry way. I looked in the bathroom to find that there was no replacement. So, to take a shower I would've had to deal with a wet floor. Second, the ceiling in the living area inches away from the bed was coming down and leaked throughout the night......A CONSTANT STEADY leak. There was no way I could get another room as I was told that the hotel was overbooked. Third, I found out that I was overcharged for this dilapidated room. My Mother booked a room the same night for the same stay as me (which was only one night night) and was charged $84. I was charged $164 FO

This location is clean and fresh with updated amenities. The best part of the stay is the breakfast. There is a large assortment of fresh food, and the female attendant keeps it stocked, organized and clean. However, within a month, I checked in to this hotel twice. On the first stay, it was 9:30am and I was abruptly woken by the sound of housekeeping pounding on surrounding doors yelling "Housekeeping, housekeeping"! On my second stay, I requested a late checkout (1200pm) and at 8:45am there was again, pounding on my door and surrounding yelling "Housekeeping, housekeeping"! It wasn't just one housekeeper; it was several of them. I stay in hotels frequently and this is the only one where I had such an experience. Management needs to resolve this issue as it is startling to your gue

The Best Western Harrisburg North was wonderful! We were greeted by the most friendly and warm staff. The lobby was clean and they had a bubble decor which was real cool to watch. There was complimentary coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the light for any time you wanted it. Our room was clean, comfortable & smelled good. The beds and pillows were great! (Although the bed was a little high for me too get into, the night's sleep was great). The bathroom was large and the water pressure was very nice! There was a microwave, small refrigerator, iron, ironing board and blow dryer in the room, as well as a safe.|Truly great experience and would definitely stay again.
