Best Western Executive Hotel of New Haven-West Haven

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The property itself is noticeably old and shows clear signs of wear and tear, which set the tone for the experience. Unfortunately, we were not greeted upon arrival. The young man at the front desk was preoccupied with his phone and did not acknowledge us right away.||||Check-in issues continued when we were given the wrong room key and walked into a room that was already occupied by another guest. This was extremely concerning from a security standpoint. When we arrived at the correct room, the condition of our room added to the frustration. The room had a noticeable odor, the shower faucet dripped continuously, and the headboard was dirty. These issues made the room feel poorly maintained and uncomfortable.||Breakfast w

This hotel is located across from Walmart, which is a plus and shares a driveway with a gas station. The rooms are comfortable for 2 ppl. Our room was overall clean but there was hair on our towels. 🥲 It was late & we just used our own washcloths & towels we usually bring with us. Breakfast was pretty nice with the different available options. Just hope housekeeping would ensure things like hair on towels & bed sheet (found in morning) & it didn’t match our hair type or color. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Good value for the price. Lots of towels. They could definitely do better with the toiletries-very small & stiff tiny containers. Very hard to get anything out. Very noisy due to traffic. Hotel is adjacent to the i95.

Right off of State 95N, this Hotel was perfect for our visit. The location was surrounded by a Walmart, Dunkin Donuts, Gas station, 711 Convience Store, plus dinners, as well as a variety of shopping locations near and on the Boston Post Road. The room was clean, had an indoor pool, and served a full free breakfast with the room accomodations. We found the price for the room reasonable for a ⭐⭐⭐⭐+ hotel. We'll definitely stay here whenever we're in this area.

Pool was freezing, asked the staff to raise the heat and they said it was the highest. Not only was the water freezing, but so was the pool room. Came to our room which was clean but also freezing. I set the heater to 85 all night and it really only got warm by morning. Had to ask for extra blankets for my family.
