Nicole was very friendly. Check in was nice and funny. Got to our room and the carpets were ripped up my 1 year old wanted to mess with it. The beds were loud and hard as a rock felt like you were right on the springs. the hot tub was still not in use. You could hear every door shut and every conversation on both sides. Our shower barely worked. Around 1am the people in the room next to us were having too much inappropriate fun and were super loud you could hear everything. Had to pack up and leave at 2am with our toddler and when brought to the red haired lady’s attention there was nothing that I saw done. Bathrooms are tiny. I highly would not suggest this hotel.
This hotel was clean, but the room we were in was very outdated. We were in town for a cheer competition at the college and was hoping for a good nights sleep the night before. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and kind. The room was clean, but the beds were terrible. I could feel the springs through the mattress for both of them (and this was the case for several other families we were traveling with). They also squeaked every time we moved, even when my daughter moved. The complimentary toiletries in the shower were completely empty. We had hoped to swim, and although the pool area was clean and well maintained, the water and room were freezing. The hot tub was broken (which we knew already from the website), but that could have counteracted the cold of the pool wate
We stayed in this hotel on December 19th overnight on our way to Albany NY. I cannot recommend this hotel due to bed bugs, and lice. It it now March 5th and I am still struggling with getting rid of these bugs. We stayed in the pet friendly room and contracted these bugs. Stayer beware. If I could give a zero I would.
Positive: I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, the readily available snacks/breakfast, and the indoor pool that I didn't have time to use. Negative: The room rug was so old and stained that I made sure to keep my shoes on. The main living space and bedding looked clean, but there was some large debris in corners and behind the TV that a vacuum with hose attachments should have taken care of.
Quiet little escape in Dunkirk. This hotel is like a second home with friendly staff and clean rooms. We stayed several days and had to extend our stay due to a snow storm. The staff took excellent care of us and made us feel at home! I highly recommend this hotel.
