Best Western Colorado River Inn

This place is horrible! Acco. rding to Keith at the front desk, this property provides three methods for preventing guests from getting a good night sleep; the truck plaza, the railroad tracks, or highway traffic. My wife and I stayed here on the first night of a trip across country and it really got things off to a bad start. We were given rooms at the very end of the building next to the truck plaza. All night long, we could hear the BEEP, BEEP, BEEP from 18 wheelers dropping off or picking up trailers. I went to the fromt desk and morning we checked out and informed Keith that we basically got no sleep due to the truck plaza noise. It was obvious that he didn't care. There was a sign right next to Keith that touted Best Western's "Service Promise". I asked Keith what could be done about

Had a great stop in for some much needed rest overnight. It was a short stay, so I can't tell you what a long term stay would be like but the King size bed was comfortable, clean, soft & and perfect. Slept very well and woke up rested. ☺️

The faucet blew off of the bathtub and hit me in the shin while I was taking a shower. The bed was not level. It had a tilt towards the headboard. I had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. The air conditioner was noisy and did not adequately cool the room down. There's no acceptable reason for these problems to have occurred. The girl at the front desk was more concerned about being able to speak, than being more receptive to my dissatisfaction with the room. I'm requesting a refund of my money, due to these major inconveniences. She had a very bad attitude. I am also never planning on staying here again, and I am going to advise others to do the same.

Positive: The desk staff was amazing ! She recognized us when we came in and took excellent care in our check in and was very informative re: rewards, etc Negative: The two buses full of rude children at breakfast time. A little more parental guidance could've been applied. One ran into my boyfriend, didn't apologize and they were cutting in front of adults already in line for food.

Most important the room was clean. Furniture was contemporary and not worn with the exception of the chair. It was worn and uncomfortable, not the recliner or easy chair normally found in a king room. The rate was 25% higher than we normally pay at a comparable Best Western.
