Best Western Braddock Inn

I am not picky on hotels, especially cause trips are more about the experiences, so this hotel was great. I do wish the pool was not under construction, but it looked like a very nice area! The breakfast was good, the room was very clean and out bathroom was massive! Also, it was very convenient being right next to a restaurant and a Sheetz (both in walking distance).

Stopped at this hotel during a trip as Best Westerns are usually my favorite “bang for your buck” hotels. Was immediately welcomed to Fox News playing in the lobby which was disappointing to say the least. The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke which was strange as I thought the hotel was smoke free. Got into our room and the AC unit sounded like a broken ice machine. Breakfast next morning and checking out was probably the only good thing about the hotel.

Overall, a good hotel. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and the amenities, such as a large screen TV, fridge and microwave, are good. The breakfast is a generous spread of hot and cold items, including eggs, waffles and sausages.One caution: the bathtub is extremely slippery. My roommate slippedand fell and sustained a concussion.

My family has stayed at the Braddock Inn for generations and always enjoyed it. This was our first stay post pandemic and the place is a hot mess now. The rooms smelled, the pool was closed, most of the fitness equipment was broken, one room ground floor had pleated paper window shades that had hols in them, carpets.were stained stairwells had lighting that flickered on and off and overall the place was suffering from a lack of basic maintenance. apparently for years. The in hotel breakfast was not at all good but he bar and restaurant were fine. It was really sad too see what had been a quaint, unique hotel fall so far.

Perfect for what I needed. Please know this is an old hotel. I remember the braddock inn was a happening place back in the day when I was growing up. I am 53 years old now so this place has been around longer than me! (I believe lol) . It is dated but still worth the price for the location. And pet friendly!
