Best Western Alderwood

During my stay, I experienced several service issues that were disappointing. The housekeeping staff seemed to have difficulty understanding English. I requested two sets of towels and two sets of amenities each day, but this request was never fulfilled. As a result, I had to stop by the front desk every evening to pick up an additional set. The hot water pot for tea in the common area was frequently empty or very low, and I often had to ask the front desk to refill it. The tea selection was also limited, and it appeared that no one was regularly checking or restocking the tea bags or hot water. In addition, there was a loud noise whenever the hot water was turned on in the bathroom. I reported this issue to the front desk during the night and was told it would be fixed the next morning,

Super friendly front desk staff but the real unexpected bonus was breakfast! Did not expect fresh biscuits with homemade gravy and chicken-fried steak along with eggs and cheese, waffles, and the most interesting fruit salad I've seen at a breakfast buffet. Several guests seemed to be repeaters. Lots of amenities and public spaces are open and inviting.

An incredible experience at this unassuming Best Western off the I-5 in Lynnwood. Great location just off the freeway and quick drive to the port in Edmonds. Physical condition of the building is excellent with clean and updated rooms, although the elevator is a bit slow and shaky. Standard Best Western amenities including indoor swimming pool, hot tub, gym, etc. The breakfast was very notable. Attentive staff coming to get your finished plates, diverse options, warm dining area. One of the best continental breakfast experiences I've had. Would be tough to find a better lodging value anywhere else in Snohomish County. Will stay again when I come back.

Stayed for work, room wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been, it’s old and dated and refrigerator didn’t work which I reported to front desk and my reply was from a smart mouth front desk Rep telling me no it does work and you need to make sure it’s not going through a defrost cycle. Ahhh , no it’s broken and nothing was done. Room is too expensive to have fridge not working and old. I won’t be back. Do better Best Western

We’ve stayed at most of the hotels in Lynnwood, and have stayed at this BW at least ten times. The entire facility, including the guest rooms, is spotless. The free breakfast is as good as any in the area, and the team in the breakfast room is terrific - friendly and helpful, really nice people. The hotel is good, the staff is great. It’s within walking distance of several decent restaurants and is a very short shuttle ride from the train station. Definitely the best value in the area.
