Berlin Heritage Inn

We needed a place to stay for the night as we traveled back home. Berlin OH is a favourite place to stop as we always find something new and/or unique. The Inn's location was perfect for us, and easy to find on a dark, damp evening. It'd been a long day of driving, and we were glad to be there. It is a very spacious facility, and when the man at the desk said that they offered 24/7 coffee and tea, i was so happy, i needed that cuppa! The room was spacious with two queen beds and - unlike every other place we'd stayed - supplied enough USB ports and AC outlets for our tech! Yes, the little things matter! Everything was clean, and we had all the amenities we needed plus a few extras. The bed was comfortable and clean, and we slept very well. The included breakfast was a let-down, which ha

1st time staying here as we visit Amish country many x's. Cute place, comfy room & bed. Plush towels, spacious bathroom. Friendly staff and decent breakfast options in the morning. Great location, close to main sites and easy in/out and parking. Pleasantly surprised as I've often been past this hotel, not really giving it much thought. One of the few hotel stays where I actually had a good night sleep.

Positive: We got the room with the fireplace! Best part by far. Room was very spacious. Free breakfast was decent. Staff was very friendly and it was a quiet stay. Negative: The coffee was very bad. The bathroom could have been more clean, as there was hair and black debris in the shower.

Good hotel/ inn can't complain, they are affordable. They offer a free breakfast and the views of the hillside at Amish country are nice to see. Rooms are clean and serviceable. Lots of establishments nearby. The staff are friendly. Recommended if you are looking for a budget friendly place. Will probably book again next time we visit Amish country.

Generally clean upon arrival, however, the most complicated and weird housekeeping policy I've ever seen in the hospitality industry. We were to fill out sheets of paper daily amd bring them to the front desk if we wanted basics like fresh towels or the room cleaned. We stayed in the lower rooms and the plumbing noise from the upper rooms was almost unbearable. Every time a toilet flush or water ran from above was annoying (particularly in the middle of the night). I finally resolved to ear plugs for a good night's sleep. It was a good value, and the location was very convenient. Overall it was an ok stay.
