It has been quite a number of years since I have been to Berkshire East and all I can say is, WOW!!! The skiing was great! Easy to check in. Barely a wait at the lift. The trails had lots to offer. The views great, quad fast. The lodge had a good setup and food options. Altogether, a great visit. I will absolutely be back!!
I visited in 2026 on an amazing powder day. Even with it being a weekend and most definitely the best day so far on the slopes. the lines weren’t excessively long and everything was great from start to finish. Their terrain park is set up nice and have some sick features. From liftys to ski partrol to customer Service. Everyone was very helpful. Met a couple locals, who showed me a few good hidden gems. It’s a 5+ hour drive and worth every bit of it. Also nine times out of 10 when I go to a resort, I car camp, sometimes resorts give you trouble with camping in their parking lot, this was not the case here. They even let me go back into the lodge to use the restroom! Reminder, if you’re an Indy pass holder, be sure to reserve your lift ticket in advance!!
slopes were great (greens/blues), enjoyed the view. Rentals are terrible though, we arrived at noon and there was no rental available. We waited an hour till something was available and couldnt get the right size of ski sticks, and they were out of helmets, we had to buy ones from their shop. Rentals were definitely overbooked. Place itself is okay, spacious parking, average food, couple of benches, clean bathrooms.
We had a blast ziplining last weekend—three hours of fun and gorgeous scenery. Our guides were phenomenal—hilarious and super professional. We were safe, learned a ton, and laughed the whole time. We’ll be back for the other tour with faster, longer zip lines. If you’re driving from Boston or any distance, allow extra time; our ETA kept ticking up and it was worth the drive. With the mountain coaster, bike trails, and nearby towns to explore, we’re planning an overnight next time.
What a gem. Perfectly sized for family. Different trails and diversity is amazing. Really enjoyed the groomers and the mogul fields. Lodge is crowded during a peak holiday power day - so understandable. Line is a little bit long but better than most other mountains. Overall we had a fantastic time!!
