Bellavida Resort

Just came home from a weekend visit with family and friends. The villa home we stayed in was okay until we started noticing black mold on the ceiling where there were visible repairs in the living room. All of the chairs in the theater room were broken. TV in livong room almost fell off of the wall (Was not properly hung), black mold in one of the bathroom showers and on some walls. They have predatory towing companies. Had to pay 150 in cash to have the driver leave the van. The driver was extremely nasty and rude. While dealing with one driver, you saw another tow truck driving around and another vehicle driving slowly as if they were notifying them about which ones to tow. This is just to make people aware that Bella Vida employ a very strict towing company that seem to come to Bella Vida each night looking for cars to tow away. |We arrived in the evening of 4th July. There is only room for 2 cars on the drive. We had 3 cars so there is an overflow car park at the end of the road - it was full 90 % of the time. |We had been up since 4am travelling and when we arrived it was after midnight our time but 7pm Florida time. No parking is allowed on the street and the clubhouse car park was full. My husband parked in the overflow car park but not in a designated space. The car was towed 20 minutes later. Worst place ever stayed. Have tow truck drivers every night if you are 3" over sidewalk car is towed. Don't pick up trash daily like said. People that work at gate and the facilities offer are rude. Wouldn't buy rent a place here. Save yourself a headache.

Little run down. Trash everywhere. Sink was sloooow to drain, shower curtain had mold, but they did replace shower curtain after a call. Washer and dryer were nice and did a good job. Gate staff were nice. Community pool/gym closed at 6. Outside personal pool was ok, but neighbor smoked so it ruined just sitting outside. Very average place that needs a good spit shine..

Save yourself and stay at a motel 6. Mold, mildew, overflowing trash with rodents, and a money hungry HOA that tows AirBNB vehicles because they don't like their clientele apparently?? Staying at Bellavida Resort via Airbnb was a frustrating and stressful experience due to what appear to be predatory towing practices enabled by resort management. There was no clear or visible signage explaining parking rules, no warning, and no attempt to notify us before our vehicle was towed. We later learned that resort management reportedly identifies which homes are Airbnbs and shares that information with the towing company, effectively targeting short-term rental guests who are unfamiliar with the area.
