Bee's RV Resort

I had a wonderful 1 month stay at Bees RV Resort. The staff was always so helpful and friendly. The activities they offered were great. When I get back down that way, I would definitely stay there again.

This used to be an ‘OK’ campground until the recent change in mismanagement! There is a simple small pool, no Tennis Court, no Pickleball Court, no dog park and recently no more restaurant. People have always returned because of the ‘repeat customers’ and residents…… until now! ||There is a new Sherrif in town that is on a quick path to ruin this place. “Corporate”, which is all family, has promoted a maintenance guy as a the new manager/ stupidvisor/ hatchet man and has apparently tasked him with making several changes to the park. They are so bold as to make changes in existing “99 year leases”. Legal action has been initiated by lease owners and will only continue. Lease owners have routinely rented out their sites for years until May 1. I was preparing to rent my site, per park rules,

I asked to be under a tree, because I have plants in my van, they are for oxygenation at night. It rained all night, I was in a mud hole next morning. Asked for a 110 hookup, got a 330, they said that is what I requested, moved me the next day so I could plug in my jackery, then moved me again to another tree, could smell sewer everytime someone flushed, and the space was an ant hill, also electric did not work, they had to come replace the outlet. Pool was nice, but needed to be cleaned, restrooms smelled like sewer also. They were clean, and the showers and laundry were an added plus. The staff were pleasant, and tried very hard to be accommodating. The spaces were way too close together, it was unnerving to have windows looking right into yours. Would never stay here again. This is truly an RV Resort that deserves the name Resort. The staff is so nice and helpful. The Resort is very well maintained. Grass always cut, common areas clean, no junk in front of people's spots, many activities, safe and quiet. I hope to be back one day. Thanks to all the office and maintenance staff for all the great work they do !

Just off 27 easy access in and out when light traffic. It does get a little noisy from road noise if you are in one of the rows close to the highway. Office is very accommodating, friendly and helpful. There was always something to do! A lot of activities and events. People are really friendly. Truly enjoyed our time there.
