Bear Valley Cabin

Bugs EVERYWHERE 🤮 including in the toaster. We had to throw out absolutely everything, including all our Ziploc bags because everything had at least one fruit fly in it, including the things in the refrigerator. I spent about 30 minutes dry heaving after I learned the toaster had fruit flies in it. WTH. I don’t know how people can live with themselves renting out places like this. I guess making money is more important than other people’s health.

Clean and accurate as per the description claims. We spent time in the hot tub, grilling some food on the grill and enjoying the campfire by the river, firewood is also provided but for a charge of $10 or so. The place has canoes for a warmer day but it was equally beautiful during winter’s too.

Great place to get away! Nice and cozy and full of amenities! Fully stocked cabin, canoes, swing, fire pit, picnic table and water right out your back door. The price is unbeatable and well worth your money. Took my wife here for our anniversary and we did not want to leave and we had a blast paddling up and down the river and sitting by the fire. Drinking wine out on the swing.

It's beautiful an the river is at the end of back yard great for lil swimmers an adults to wade in the water.. they kayaks are ready to put in the water an for the relaxer there is the hammock picnic table with stone patio an campfire pit with plenty of firewood.. so u don't have to go find it urself..

Great weekend getaway near Shenandoah National Park. Right on the river.
