Bear Creek Resort

A nice hotel lodge. Very clean and a nice room. Had a nice 2nd store deck. There's a fireplace, but you have to bring your own food, lighter fluid and matches. But no one told us that, I had to reach out to staff to find out this! Was very disappointed!! And the staff wasn't very attentive or helpful. Probably wont stay there again for that reason.

I made my reservation back several months ago for a Labor Day get together. I requested an ADA room as I use a walker and cannot navigate stairs very well. Mind you, a couple of weeks late I am schedule for a knee replacement. When I was checking my reservation a week before leaving, I found out it was changed and my ADA room was given away. No word, no communication, no nothing. I was told it was an upgrade and that I would really like the cabin. Mind you, I was by myself and really did not need a big cabin. They stated they were having problems getting business so they were renting out cabins as short-term rentals. I got to my cabin about 7 pm., after being called and asked when I would arrive. The towels are worn out and not worth for a 3.5 star hotel. Check in was hassle free. The management should have cleared the snow from the balcony as it was completely immersed in snow. Please put decent towels as some of the colors are also pretty washed out.

DONT STAY HERE. If could. I would give this 0 stars. Reserved a room over a month in advance. The room we got was not what we reserved and the staff there did. Nothing to accommodate other than bring an extra set of thin blankets and sheets. The heaters in cabin did not work and my children woke up freezing cold at 4am as it was 58 degrees int he cabin. All of the floors are tile. Half of the appliances and amenities didn't work. The microwave over the stove was barely hanging on and was scary to be around. When we checked in it was already past 8 and it was a 5 hr drive to get there and my kids were tired, we tried to find another room but had to wait for the next day. We were there for 12 hrs after talking with the person on the phone because no one is ever at the front desk he gave

Alert - Hunted Hotel Last night was extreme horrible. Around midnight the whole hotel got way too quiet and then suddenly I started hearing footsteps in the hallway, knocking sounds on the wall, and even water noises coming from the bathroom. Thanksgiving night turned into a haunted night for me . We couldn’t sleep at all. i have footage of hearing creepy noises , i recorded that night from our hotel room .
