Beacons of Minocqua

Got a suite for the weekend, off season, which was smaller than expected and didn’t seem like a ‘suite’. Room could have been cleaner. We didn’t use any of the other services as we were there really just to sleep. Bed was hard too. Cabins on the property look very nice. Perhaps try a different room type next time.

Our stay here was extremely disappointing and fell far below the “resort” standards advertised on their website. While we respect rental policies, the additional fee we were charged feels unreasonable given the condition of the accommodations. The unit was poorly maintained, with numerous safety, cleanliness, and amenity issues, it lacked accessibility and lacked accessibility to lake to bring kayak and canoes including: • Dirty and poorly maintained property: The elevator was dirty and slow, and stairs were not easily accessible. • Washing machine inoperable — a basic amenity that we expected for a longer stay. • Multiple faulty electrical outlets — inconvenient and unsafe. • Non-functional TV and broken hair dryer — no working in-unit entertainment or basic conveniences. • Insufficient

We had a very nice time! The desk staff were very friendly and helpful! I love the adult swim time in the morning. The pontoon boat rental is great, the boats are very nice!

Great resort, some appliances a little dated but fully functional. This is an awesome resort!! Our first time to the Northwoods and it was a most enjoyable trip. This is a great resort and a terrific place to use as a base to explore the area.

I own a week in Indiana and exchanged for a week here. The place is nice and comfy on Minocqua Lake. Rooms can use a little updating. Otherwise bed was nice and it was centrally located to all the places I wanted to see in Northern Wisconsin Northwoods and the Upper Peninsula.
