Beachside Resort & Residences

Positive: The pool area was nice and quiet. Being right on the beach where you can see the sunset from the beach and the pool was incredible. The poolside bar/snackshack and option of a full restaurant in the hotel lobby was great! Negative: There was a shuttle to and from downtown every hour, which was great. However, there was no airport shuttle option.

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite and overall had a nice experience, with several helpful notes for future guests. The suite itself was very spacious and clean, and we really appreciated having a washer and dryer in the room. The kitchen was also pretty well stocked with supplies and serving ware, which made the stay more comfortable.||A few things could be improved: our main entry door didn’t have a deadbolt, and there were no tissues in the rooms, though the front desk provided some quickly. The resort also mentions they will text you when your room is ready, but we never received a message—so it’s best to check back directly at the front desk. Housekeeping was also hard to find, and they do not offer daily housekeeping, which is good to know ahead of time.||During our stay, the elevator

For anyone reading the other reviews, I'm happy to say that they fixed the beach and pool chairs! We were there in the off season but it was so wonderful! The hotel is well kept and clean. The pool and patio area are great with nice lighting and music. The beach, albeit small, was secluded and peaceful. With a shuttle that goes downtown and to the southern most point (but not to the airport, so plan for that) it made it so easy to enjoy Key West and the Hemingway House is walking distance from the shuttle drop off. The local grocery store delivers to the hotel as well. Our room had a full kitchen, two bathrooms and a washer/dryer. The food was delicious in the tavern but pretty expensive. We had the most relaxing time in a long while in our four days stay. Great place, not too busy enough people, but not too many. John was a wonderful server while we Lounged around the pool and relaxed. The food at the tavern was amazing! We had breakfast every day there and dinner a couple times. Excellently prepared and served, it was a fantastic experience. They don’t have a shuttle to pick you up from the airport, but they do have a free shuttle to take you into town and pick you up all in all. It really was the most relaxing vacation I’ve had in years. Thanks everybody.

I really eanted to leave a good review because I wanted this place to be as awesome as it looks. It's beautiful. But if you are staying in a regular room, it sucks. Their hospitality lacks big time. They do not clean your room or empty your trash. We were here for a week. We asked for a refresh and were rudely told they don't clean your room there. Okay but we still need towels, tp, coffee, etc. they brought us a big trash bag with those things in them and my husband forced the guy to take a couple bags of garbage. Normally when you check into a place someone gives you the rundown on how things work. We received zero info and because we were exhausted from traveling for over 24 hours to get there we didn't think to ask. Need ice? You get to stand in line at the front desk so they can bag
