Beach Park Hotel

Our stay at Beach Park Hotel was unfortunately disappointing overall. The lack of politeness from the staff was very noticeable. There was no greeting, no goodbye — nothing. At one point, our toilet became clogged for no apparent reason. When we informed the front desk, we were simply told there was a plunger in the hallway and that we should handle it ourselves. The person at reception didn’t even stand up and was sitting with earphones in. That level of service was quite surprising. Regarding parking — which is not clearly mentioned anywhere — it costs $40 per night and valet service is mandatory. The valet parks the car just behind the hotel, about 30 seconds away. Love the Beach Park Hotel! It's a no frills hotel, meaning there are no amenities except for hairdryer and TV. They don't even have coffee! Despite that, it is absolutely outstanding in customer service and location. It's old, but interesting. Bring your own everything. They are very warm and friendly and I felt safe there. Location couldn't be better, right at the entrance of South beach.|It's reasonably priced. They elevator doesn't function and you have to carry your own stuff. There are plenty of restaurants around. Very economical and very nice people.

We stayed here the January 26th through the 29th. The location was great and the staff were friendly, hotel was in the middle of walking distance from the beach and multiple restaurants and places to visit. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet at night. The front desk made sure we had everything we needed and took great care of us. Also, loved the art in the lobby and the hallways.

I checked into this hotel in South Beach, Miami and paid for an entire week in advance. Unfortunately, my experience has been shocking and completely unacceptable. The air conditioner in our room started leaking and water was dripping everywhere. The entire room floor was wet, so I reported it to the front desk before leaving for the day. When we came back to the hotel in the evening after being out all day, we walked into a disgusting situation. Someone had entered our room, urinated in the toilet, thrown our towel on the floor, and left the bathroom in a filthy condition. Imagine returning to your hotel room after a long day, tired and just wanting to take a shower, only to find something like this. No guest should ever have to experience this.
