Baymont by Wyndham Osage Beach

Single worst experience ever! I thought that this hotel being a Wyndham it would be safe, I was wrong. This is definitely not up to Wyndhams standards. Specifically asked, when making reservation, if pool and hot were working, told yes. The pool was unheated and in disrepair and the hot tub “broke” a week prior. The ice machine was broken and had a note in it to go to office for ice but office door was locked and stayed locked my entire stay, 2 nights. The vending machines were empty and unplugged. The breakfast was tiny with really just scrambled eggs. The muffins and bagels were almost gone and they didn’t replenish them. The mattresses moved every time I moved slightly. Rented a room on Saturday January the 17th 2026. Walked in the room to bed bugs considering this location isthird party, windom has no obligation to do anything about it. I didn't even get an apology tried to act like I was lying, also if they have less than 10 people staying they wouldn't open the pool or hot tub good luck and be sure to check your rooms

Positive: The door closing behind me as we left. Negative: The first room was filthy so moved to a second one wasn't much better plus it had ants everywhere, and NO hot water. I have pictures and videos...NOT HAPPY...ruined weekend.

The bed was comfortable but the mattress stained. The HVAC unit did not work adequately for the space and the room felt damp, also would not run as peogrammed to constantly fan so it would turn off and on waking me up all night. Everything is very 1980s dated and damaged, making one question the cleanliness or safety. The shower was hot and the drain drained which is good. But I could never stay at this hotel again. It's neglected, the outside pool was a green swamp and weeds growing everywhere. If I didn't know better, I would think this hotel was closed when I pulled up to it. The staff didn't correct my issues because I didn't report them but it was too late and I didn't want to move rooms and figured another room would be just as weird and problematic. Staff was very friendly and was able to get me a room very late at night. I always check 2 things immediately when getting into a room. The bed and the air filter. There were stains on the sheets and mattress. The air filter super gross. I ended up leaving it off while I was there. Oh, and right before leaving, there was a roach on one of the beds.
