Baymont by Wyndham Orlando Lake Buena Vista South

Driving up last night and seeing the main entrance, I had second thoughts. However, after checking in and spending one night in my room, I was genuinely surprised by the accommodations for the price. Had a comfortable bed and a good running air conditioner. Special thanks to Angie for letting me sleep in an extra hour after checking in at 1:30am. Great selection for breakfast, open until 11:00am. Saved this location in case it's needed for a last-minute stay.

Positive: The breakfast was very good. Beds were comfortable. Negative: This hotel saw better days at least two decades ago. The hot water would take 2 showers to warm up. The entire tub and all tub fixtures were loose. The faucet in the sink was too far back and would flood the counter. The front door stuck.

Really I don’t understand what the other reviews are complaining about. When I read the reviews, I was actually worried that this would turn out poorly. I was very surprised. The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and warm and they did in fact, replenish the food periodically. I really have no complaints. This was the cheapest accommodation in the Orlando area and it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean, they were plenty of towels, check-in was very quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly.

The staff was extremely helpful and the room smelled nice and clean. For the cost this hotel exceeded my expectations and is in a convenient location for my visit to Seaworld. The free breakfast is very good but the breakfast room is small and gets crowded in the morning. Overall I am very pleased with my stay.

Checking in went as expected correct and good, rooms felt a little outdated but clean.|Everything in room worked as expected, greatest problem I found in the room were the few possibilities to charge devices, not enough outlets…||Breakfast is the only thing I’m really not happy with it was very small no Chease, turkey chicken or any other meats to put on bread, only sweets.||Housekeeping seemed friendly but can’t give comments about them since I got sick the second or third day in, so they didn’t clean room cause for most part I was just feeling to sick to get out.||the receptionist I had most contact was with a woman really went out of her way to help me, checking in f my delayed luggage had arrived everyday but also helping me to point me to a clinic and get my bronchitis checked out.
