Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock - Downtown Civic Center

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the college by my nephew's graduation. This is absolutely the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. It's old yes - but it's obvious management does not care what the property or the room looked like. Carpets had huge tears in it, bedspread and curtains had holes in them, towels and sheet were stained (so hopefully they were at least clean. Bathtub was stained and had bathtub rings, bathroom vanity was separating from the wall, closet was missing closet rod and supports (obviously no hangers) and to top it off - no hot water for bath. Sink was clogged and I saw a roach at night in the bathroom - but the room was so disgusting that was not surprising. I can't believe Wyndham allows this property to use it's name.

Positive: The price....💲💲💲 Negative: Well where doni start..ive been here for a month. My room hasn't had contusion hot water. The sink fell off the bottom of the counter . No hat breakfast. There always out and a lot of homeless people eating the breakfast. Which doesn't leave any for us.

Customer service was extremely unpleasant. The receptionist did not greet me, did not smile, and did not even say thank you when I went to my room. The room itself felt like something out of a horror movie. The couch was ripped, the bedsheets had dirty stains, there were no towels in the bathroom, the toilet was filthy, and the door bolt was broken. I ran out of the room as quickly as I could. I went back to the front desk and asked to switch rooms, which she did-but the second room was even worse. The bed wasn't made and it looked like someone had already been there, as if housekeeping never cleaned it at all. It honestly seemed like the room hadn't been cleaned in years. I did not stay as I ended up booking a different hotel loosing my money at the Baymont. I would give 0 stars and would

Rooms do not look like in the pictures. Stayed there and the first thing, I killed a cockroach. I woke up freezing couldn't turn on the heater, it wouldn't work. So cold in the room I couldn't take a shower and no remote for the TV. You would think that they would compensate you , but no. The only reason I am giving them a 1. I was able to get out of the cold wind. Which was blowing through the cracks between the door and door jam.

Our experience at this hotel was beyond unacceptable. The room was filthy from the moment we walked in. None of the lights worked, and the door lock was completely missing, making us feel extremely unsafe. The chair in the room looked like it had been picked up off the street — stained and unusable. The bedsheets had visible blood stains, and we were only given two pillows for the entire stay. The walls were covered in stains, and the carpet was sticky and foul-smelling. The entire room reeked of cigarettes and urine, making it nauseating and nearly impossible to breathe comfortably. This wasn’t just a bad experience — it was a health hazard. My entire family felt sick just being in the room. This place is completely unfit for guests and should be shut down by the health department. Do not
