Baymont by Wyndham Laurel

Room smelled a little. Turned all the way on hot, the shower was barely warm. The panel filter for the air conditioning was some cheap thing that obviously hadnt been changed for months. However many people stay at this place for however many nights, and you cant even manage to change the air filter panels? The people who worked at the desk were fine and nice and the location was good. This is a fine place to stay if you really need a room, but hopefully they fix the things i pointed out and it will be much better.

u can hear everyone in the hall and what they say. If you're on the ground floor you can hear people's showers, when they are walking in their rooms. Bath tub was soo slick I almost fell (not elderly friendly). Breakfast is 6-9am, by 7 they were out (totally) of sausage, out of eggs (takes 12-15 minutes to make more). You have to ask for them to make more, out of syrup for the pancakes, out of plates for the pancakes (found some in the cabinets). Out of coffee in the breakfast area, had to go to the lobby area for more.No one monitors the breakfast area it's up to the guess to tell the front desk what is needed. |Curtains actually completely closed, room looked nice, didn't try the TV, sofa, the office chair or the coffee pot. Rooms are good, The breakfast is horrible, you have the choice of waffle,cereal,grits,no butter,no toast, no fruit, no juices of any kind,cannot believe this a Wyndham Hotel...

We stayed at this Days Inn on April 6, 2024 while we were traveling through on our way to San Antonio for the solar eclipse. We were a little reluctant to stay here because of the negative reviews, but we did notice some reviews mentioned a renovation in progress. We decided to take a chance. Turns out the entire hotel is under full renovation and there is a new manager as of one month prior. When we pulled into the parking lot, we were pleasantly surprised to notice that everything on the outside was redone, and the landscaping was nicely trimmed, and the grass was mowed. When we walked into the hotel, it was very obvious that it had been very nicely redone. We were placed on the second floor in a completely renovated king room. It was very nice! I don’t know what happened since the earlier reviews but something changed. The place was quite nice. The rooms were clean and the service was good. The bathtub has a non-slip coating. In-room fridge and good breakfast. Pet friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
