Holiday Inn Express & Suites Laurel by IHG

This hotel is undergoing renovations. The hallway carpets appear very dirty, trim molding is down and overall shabby feeling. Also smells like sewage. Beds were okay - towels are thin and bear minimum. Floors in shower were dirty as was under the sink area. Most expensive holiday inn we stayed at on our cross country trip. Called IHG to complain and they said they had no idea the hotel was doing renovations. Told to call general manager Akash. Finally got him today ( he did not call me as I was told he would). He was belingerant and said that IHG lied to me since they have to approve a hotel to undergo renovations. Said he has signs up but NOT LISTED on website so too late to cancel when you pull up. Manager was very nasty and NO help. Told me it was up to IHG to refund my money not them.

We liked everything checking in and out was a breeze. The staff was incredibly nice. The room was nice it had everything. I wish it came with more than 2 towels at a time, but other than that it was nice and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. We also enjoyed the fitness center though it didn't have much machines it did not disappoint it was fun being able to workout on the machines. We really enjoyed the pool as well it was one of the reasons we booked with this hotel it was clean and just so much fun being able to swim and enjoy ourselves. The breakfast buffet was another reason we booked it the food was absolutely delicious our favorite was the ham and biscuits and gravy everything was delicious and the lady who cooked everything was incredibly nice she even got us some ceramic wrap

My partner and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Laurel, MS over Thanksgiving, and unfortunately it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We arrived early in the morning and were told over the phone that we could check in early at no extra charge. When we arrived at 4 a.m., we were suddenly told we would be charged for an extra night, so we had to sleep on a couch at a family member’s house until morning. When we finally checked in around 9 a.m., the first room we were given had visible hair all over the sheets. We immediately notified the front desk and were moved to another room, room 307. After sleeping in the second room (307) that night, I woke up with clusters of large, painful bites on my leg and back. My partner checked my back and confirmed several more bites that w

When visiting Laurel, the holiday inn express is the only option for quality and clean rooms. The staff has always been professional and courteous. The beds are beyond comfortable , and the overall room is spacious. Thank you for giving us a safe and clean hotel that we look forward to coming to.

I frequently stay at this location when in town for work and it never disappoints. The front staff are always friendly and remember me. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The manager is friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience here.
