Budget Inn

My son rented a room. He was awaken with 2 men in his room standing over the bed. My son ran out of the room to 3 men outside. Was able to get into his car and got away. I called the hotel and was hung up on 4 times. Leading me to believe the employees are giving keys to people alone. Stay at your own risk.

This has to be the worst place in Laurel to stay. The pictures make it look OK and make you think you could possibly be alright staying there for a night, but I'm telling just don't do it to yourself. The owners seem like good people, but this place needs a lot of money to be upgraded. I'm sure they are doing the best they can, but this place is HORRIBLE. Definitely looks like a by the hour type of situation if you know what I mean. The long term tenants are just down right scary. I'm just being honest. I literally checked in and checked out because I just couldn't stay in that situation. I'm truly sorry to write this review, but it's only fair that people know what they are getting into before they spend their money. The good: I guess you can say the owner seems like a nice person The bad/ugly: This place is not worth $50/night my God. For $60/night I could've stayed in an actually decent hotel. This hotel should only be $25/night. The sheets were never cleaned, the room was full of black mold, the place just doesn't take cleaning seriously enough. There's weirdos outside for hours at a time doing god knows what. I'm by no means fussy, but this is the first time I've left a hotel in the night and I've slept in $30 Motel 6s before. This is probably the grossest hotel I've ever been to and that includes hotels I paid $15/night for in 3rd world countries, at least those hotels cleaned their sheets.

Been knowing these people for years!!! The most friendliest business people I ever met.. They treat their customers like family. And go above and beyond to make their customers feel safe,comfortable and happy.. Been my friend since 2009 and they will help anyone that say anything bad to say about them or their place probably ain't never even met them or spent 1 night there..these are honest business owners that's trying to make it in the world and have something and take care of their family... So stop hating on them and get on they level or shut up!!!!!!
