Baymont by Wyndham Lake City I-75

Excellent Service. The hotel owners takes good care of their tenants with breakfast accommodations and snacks with drinks at all hours of the night. A pool, hot tub and fitness center? Pretty much all the average person needs. This place is great from a night to a week or however. Definitely worth the stop.

Bugs, bugs, bugs||||This loactions lack of urgency and cusomer service was insane. We had roaches in our room, and a hole in the floor they were crawing in and out of. We saw them crawing on the bedframe, ceiling, and around the door and lock. Here are some shaky pics below, as we assumed we needed proof for the refund and immediate checkout. We requested amother room immediately but were told they were at capacity, so we assured the lady up front we would be checking out after packing. When we returned with the key, she realized she accidently refunded a different room and refused to refund ours. We were told we stayed too long left around midnight after checking in late PM and we will need to go through booking.com. We have called and emailed and are still waiting on a refund from our 2

Positive: Close to parkway exits and close to restaurants Negative: Really dirty, floors coming up, water not going down in tub, lights not working ( blinking with a short) no plugins or charging ports. Their website listed one price for the room but the clerk tried to charge 20 extra!

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The cleanliness was unacceptable; our room had a smoke odor despite booking non smoking room, and the bathtub initially ran with brown water. While the beds were decent, the rest of the facility was poorly maintained. The 'continental breakfast' promised over the phone was a major disappointment. We went for the breakfast at 7:40 AM to find almost no food prepared—just three slices of bread and a few bagels with no spreads or tongs for hygiene. While waffles and cereal were available, there were no toppings, and the milk pitcher in the refrigerator was empty. The breakfast area was understocked and unhygienic. I stayed at this place and it's definitely not up to standards. The 2 people (I think they are a couple) that run this place are clueless, they have no idea what they are doing nor are they qualified to run a hotel. Totally disorganized! The sad thing is that this place really has the potential only if the owners get their act together and by removing all the incompetent staff and put more experienced workers! Rooms also need a better job on cleaning.
