Baymont by Wyndham Columbia, MO

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’ve stayed at better hotels in third world countries. We booked one night as we moved across the country from Colorado to Georgia and needed a pet friendly room. After 14 hours of driving we arrived at the hotel at 4:40am and we were told that we were too late for our reservation and would need to pay for the room again. The man at the front desk was smug, snooty and rude. He said the cutoff time was 4am (even though nobody told us that over the phone when we booked and it didn’t say anywhere in any email or our reservation). I said check out is at 11am and I paid for the room so just let us go to bed. He said no, I had to pay for another room. We were exhausted so we just decided to pay it and talk to a manager in the morning. When we got to our room

Positive: Clean room, amenities function, bed was firm and not sagging, had a nice breakfast display with even some basic hot options which was nice to have also Negative: louder Columbia location overall and room doors have an unfortunate larger gap at the base for hall noise.

It’s a good hotel, clean, good price, I like to live here, will come next time!

Bed Bugs. We stayed here for one night, the room itself was overall mostly clean besides a few dead ladybugs on the carpet. The room was neat though. However, we did find a few live bed bugs. I’m glad we caught it early before it became a larger issue for management. Staff was very apologetic, kind, and helpful with the situation. Thankfully they offered us a full refund. We understand bed bugs happen at almost every hotel. (it really only takes one guest to bring them in) So if you decide to stay here just be cautious and do double check the beds! (As you would any other hotel)

We were driving from Illinois to Colorado and we stopped here. This place is such a great value. You can tell that they care about their establishment and their guests. It was clean and well-kept. The man at the front desk was sweet and accommodating. As long as there’s not a change in ownership, we will make this place our regular stop when traveling.
