Baymont by Wyndham Buffalo

Entrance is difficult to find. Furniture shows wear. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Came into town about 10pm and didn't realize when I booked online the date had changed. The gentleman working was able to switch my date and get me a room. Fellow Steeler fan was a great help. Go Black and Gold!

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times for work in November and December, and it’s become increasingly frustrating. This is the third year in a row that the conditions of the rooms have deteriorated.||I’ve stayed in several rooms, and each one had its own set of problems. The first room I stayed in had fruit flies and a strong odor. they had tried to mask the smell by opening the window, but it didn’t work. Other rooms had issues with cleanliness as well.||Around Thanksgiving, the internet access went out and was still not available when I left for the final time just before Christmas. The front desk staff would simply give me a “I don’t know” look when I asked about the internet. One person even told me to use a hotspot if I needed to access the internet.

This place is a dump. Walls paper thin. There was food left in the refrigerator from the past guest my shower had a used wash cloth on the rack the shower had long black hairs on the walls the bed sheets weren't changed they were dirty from the last guest the TV was unplugged and unhooked from the box I had to hook it all myself the front desk staff was sleeping at checkout there is NO breakfast food at all. Coffee was empty The walls were super thin could hear EVERYTHING that was going on inside and outside of the hotel. Pre check in was useless still had to do check in the old way at the front desk.

Positive: The beds were comfortable however the pillows are small and ready flat. The towels were soft. Negative: There was not a lobby or anywhere for our group to be together. We ended up sitting in the fitness center. Also no coffee maker in the rooms. The iron board is stored right next to the toilet.? kinda gross!

The hotel is just okay—not great, but fine for a quick and inexpensive overnight stay. The elevator is very slow; it’s actually faster to take the stairs from the 3rd floor to the ground. Coffee ran out overnight, which was disappointing. On the plus side, the location is convenient since it’s right in the center of town.
