Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort

This was my second stay at a Disney DVC resort. The first was at Polynesian in 2023. The Bay Lake rooms are nice and well appointed and feel like any city apartment short term rental... think Sonder or Marriott Apartments. If you stay with DVC, you get limited housekeeping and no real hotel amenities. The rooms are outfitted about like a long term hotel room; dishes, washer/dryer, etc. The views are amazing and the location cannot be beat. I much prefer an off property stay with a full service hotel though for the money. You are simply paying the Mouse Tax for location and walkability.

We did a split stay at the Disney resort and Bay Lake Tower was our first resort. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. It was very clean and you can't beat the location. We loved everything thing about our stay here from the WONDERFUL service to the comfortable room. We plan on staying here again.

Great resort overall, have had some issues through the years especially regarding room key issues or not getting perfected views even when paying for it. It's a good home resort however there may be some better options but it was always be my go to resort!

Without a doubt, the location of Bay Lake Tower cannot be beat! Magic Kingdom is a quick walk away. We’ve had nothing but great experiences every time we stay. Ginnie at the front desk is a delight and makes a point to help in any way she can. Villian’s Lair is a blast and has a beautiful fireworks view. The rooms have been recently renovated and are beautiful!

It is beautiful. The refurbished rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The convenience to the Magic Kingdom (quick walk) and the monorail (just across the skybridge to the Contemporary) is great. The staff are all so kind and helpful.
