Barefoot'n Resort

I would give 10 stars, this Resort is a hidden gem I came across. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The check in was super easy and fast. Great Staff!!! There are 2 pools and a hot tub that are crystal clear. I have nothing negative to say, this Resort was amazing.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My son prepaid for a room and was only told upon arrival—after being charged additional resort fees—that guests must be 21 or older to stay. He then spent three hours trying to get a refund while the staff ignored him. This policy is not listed anywhere online. The front desk staff were rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful when asked about the refund process. I even called and emailed with no response and no manager available to assist. Thankfully, the credit card dispute process exists, or we’d still be out the money.

Positive: The location is perfect for Old Town Kissimmee. All room have laundry facilities in them. Negative: Some of the bedroom and bathroom cabinets are dated and rather cheaply made. The drawers don't always open smoothly and some of them and cabinets doors won't stay closed.

The resort is very quiet and the location is close enough to the main theme parks. I did not use the amenities but they looked nice with a pool, volleyball court, and play area for kids The room setup was very spacious and the service at the front desk was friendly. We did not get housekeeping our whole stay and our shower was grimy was my only complaint. Overall decent place to stay and good value.

Would not recommend. I was suspicious of the low price, and that should have been my clue not to book here. The area is not great, a lot of shady characters around. We called to let them know we were landing late and they told us that was not a problem and our keys would be at the front desk. Got in after midnight, front desk was locked and nobody official in sight. If it wasn't for the fact that we rented a car, we would have left right away due to the people milling around. We tried calling multiple times, finally got through to someone at Hotels.com who were not able to get in contact with the property either. Almost an hour later a security guard came by and unlocked the door for me and told me to go find my keys. Seriously, I had to go behind the desk to find my keys. He kept telling
