Barclay Hotel Atlanta Downtown

Positive: "" Negative: They had AC units in the room that were set up using cardboard for the hose. The elevator doors sometimes would not open so you had to pry them open to get off. Very very old hotel

Amazing customer service throughout our stay here. We had a night time gentleman Saturday night, that was amazing (I wish I could remember his name). The hotel is older, but that is expected in downtown Atlanta. We walked into a room that was at least 80 degrees, they are on central heat and air, so don't expect to control the situation. Its very loud at night due to traffic and shenanigans. Our sink had a constant drip, but that didn't affect me. My room was clean and there was plenty of room. Read the parking instructions before you leave. Check in and out were easy. Breakfast was very good and the attendant was very nice.

Large quiet room with comfortable bedding and many cable channels for watching sports. Some of the rooms offer great views. Excellent location for three events I attended in the downtown area. Walkable to most events and also close to public transport. Daily breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff were amazing! Courteous , helpful, always going above & beyond assisting with directions to multiple venues and ensuring I had needed housekeeping necessities since my stay was extended. The price was definitely right and I look forward to returning!

Amazing stay from start to finish! I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any questions I had were handled quickly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and stress-free stay.

I booked a last minute room here the day before I arrived for a conference at the convention center and the location was great and room rate ($129) was very good. The rooms could use some updating. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was plentiful! Overall very good stay!
