Baltzor Farm & Guesthouse in Bend

Absolutely Unacceptable – Canceled Last-Minute with No Warning This was by far the worst Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. I booked our stay at Baltzor Farm over 3 months in advance for the busy 4th of July holiday weekend. With less than 9 days to go, Heather canceled our reservation without any explanation or prior communication. Now, my children and I are left without a place to stay during a completely booked holiday weekend. This wasn’t just a getaway — we were attending a large family reunion just down the road, and this cancellation has completely disrupted our plans. There was no accountability, no courtesy, and certainly no professionalism. I strongly advise anyone considering Baltzor Farm to think twice — you risk being canceled on at the last minute with no reason or recourse.

What a wonderful and charming location to rest up on your vacation. You will feel like you are way out in the country, yet you are just minutes to Bend and all it's activities. And, the best thing is it is an actual farm! Yes, there are cows, chickens and even a couple of laid back farm dogs ambling down the drive. Not to worry, the animals are put up early and we never even heard a peep(or moo) from them. The guest quarters are in an outbuilding away from the main house, so one has privacy. It is very tastefully appointed . The furnishings appeared to be brand new with the latest designs. Giant TV, HUGE bathroom with large soaking tub and roomy walk in shower. Comfy bed and sofa. Awesome! Location is quiet and peaceful. Accommodations are comfy & clean with thoughtful extras. Host (Heather) is very friendly and helpful and gave good restaurant recommendation when asked. "Dog friendly" is an understatement. This place is dog fantastic! My dogs loved playing fetch in the field. There were dog bowls, bags and even doggy treats waiting for us. Thanks for a great place to stay in Bend.
