Baltzell Motel

Stopped for the night while on the way to Iowa, rooms were very very nice! Comfy and clean and a great price! Will definitely stay here again when going through Great Bend. Very nice and helpful lady on the phone !:)

It had been a while since I stayed at this location. It was being remodeled one room at a time last time I was there and appears to be done now.||||My room was quite large and very updated. I would estimate it to have approximately twice the square footage of many current hotel rooms. The king bed was extremely comfortable. The pillows were great too.||||The bathroom was large and even had a closet.||||The room came with an easy chair, a desk, a dresser, night stands, a microwave, and an apartment-size (not mini) refrigerator. Outlets were numerous and placed where they were needed. There was plenty of lighting. The flat screen TV came with a good selection of channels.||||Though the building is not new, everything in my room appeared to be. I consider this to be one of the nicest rooms fo

Yes it looks like one of those old motels from the '50s, but the inside is not from the '50s! The hottest water that lasts forever in the showers. The bed that is so comfortable it literally swallows you up! The mini fridge with an actual freezer! And the price that can't be beat! I stayed there three times now, and if I ever have to go back through Great Bend again, I will be sure to stay there every single time!

Booked a room 2-3 weeks ahead. We showed up, turned out they BOOKED all their rooms and left us stranded with no place to stay for us. They even kept our money, DID NOT give us a refund. Will never trust a business like this. Would give 0/5 stars if i could. worst experience ever, stay away from places like this that take ur money and leave you out without a room! terrible business!

This such a cute little place. I'm in town from Florida for work and I found this little gem. I'm so glad I did. The cute couple in the office were very nice and gave great suggestions for local food places in the area. The room was super cozy and clean. There was an included kitchenette, full bathroom, a desk and a flat screen TV. 10/10 would stay again when I'm here!
