Aura Inn

Due to a last-minute emergency, we were not able to stay at Aura. However, we paid for the room already and it was non refundable. The staff at Aura worked with Booking.com to not only refund me, but refund me without fees. It was a nice gesture on their part to allow us to recoup the cost of the room!

In order to visit my dad in his senior facility I visit Monterey monthly and often stay in one of the motels nearby on Munras Street in Monterey. The motels are of similar size and configuration, built along this stretch of Munras before the highway bypass was built many years ago. I found the Aura Inn to be the nicest of these motels along Munras that I’ve tried so far. The room and the bathroom have been cosmetically upgraded with new flooring, mirror, countertops. The bed and bedding was nice and the room was very clean. The room has a frig, microwave,kurig, and in room safe. The area is quiet until the morning brought traffic noise along Munras blvd. But thankfully the Aura Inn has invested in new windows that really block the noise from the roadway. The location is convenient. You can

We have stayed in Monterey previously and this motel provided a great stay this time. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Motel is situated within an easy drive to the Main tourist attractions, and there is a shopping centre situated just across the road.

The rooms were cozy, neat and clean. The bathrooms were updated and overall it was a pretty good stay. I would stay here again, if they maintain the property like this.
