Let me start by urging you not to make the same mistake I did. If you're going to drive through Barstow and get a hotel/motel, reserve one ahead of time. Every hotel in the area was full and my husband paid $112.5 for us to stay in this awful place. We walked up to the door with our key and were told to wait up so they could bring towels. The AC barely worked and was very loud. The room reeked of cigarettes. The carpet was sticky and visibly filthy. The sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. The box spring of one of the beds had a huge tear in the side of it. The headboards were visibly greasy. I sat on the edge of a bed and had a panic attack. This is the filthiest most horrible place I've ever stayed. I almost cried. I would have demanded to stay in the car but my two small children ne

$40 with tax for an average room. For about $5 more you can stay at Motel 6 next door. ||On the positive side they have tubs instead of the small shower at M6. The check in was pleasant and quick. The room clean and reasonably comfortable with fridge and microwave. ||The negatives are a TV from the 80s and no ice maker ... but they do have Dish with lots of channels (but they should include a channel guide and instructions). The manager gave me a bucket of ice but it tasted terrible ... I went next door to the Rodeway Inn and got a bucket from their machine. ||I guess it's about a push between this place and M6.

The Manager is very nice, helpful and understanding. If your on fixed income, He understands and will wait until you receive your pay check. This Motel has monthly rates and the first month, Paying tax is required, however, if you stay longer by the month. No tax will be charged on monthly rates. I feel secure here.

It's dirty, there is hair on the floors and in the bed, the towels had brown spots resembling... Yeah. I didn't want to shower because I felt much cleaner than when I walked in, much less after I spent the evening there. It was cheap, but it was disgusting. I should have paid the extra $15 and stayed elsewhere. There were 2 slivers of soap, no shampoo and the bed was so bad that I woke several times at night with back pain and in the morning I felt like I was hit by a train. The AC did work pretty well and no one broke in so I've seen worse but I would NOT pay money to stay here again

I stayed here on the drive to Vegas. The price was right, but I got what I paid for. The linen was filthy with stains and hair. The lights were motion reactive, so when I tossed n turned in bed nothing turned on, but if I reached for my water bottle, the lights came on. I felt like I was being bitten, but saw no signs until the next day. On my way back, I stopped to tell mgt and I got a "No bedbugs here."|| If u go, be sure to ask for any room other than 108.....
