I had a great stay at Arlo Midtown. The rooms are a bit small, but very cozy, modern, and extremely clean. Everything feels well designed and comfortable, which makes the space work really well. The location is excellent and convenient for getting around the city, and the views are beautiful—especially if you get a higher floor. I also highly recommend checking out one of the local coffee spots nearby. There are some great small cafés in the area that make the mornings even better. Overall, a really pleasant stay. Great atmosphere, great location, and I would definitely recommend it.
The hotel is incredible the front desk staff are the friendliest, most helpful that I have encountered anywhere. The hotel has a fun vibe, great music playing throughout. The bar, coffee shop and restaurant are all brilliant. Great cocktails in the bar. Food is good in every area. The room was compact with 2 double beds. It had everything in that we needed. Loved people watching through the big windows. If returning to New York , I would stay here. An amazing staff team that always appear happy and look like they love working here. Even the maintenance guy we met in the lift was super friendly.
Positive: Cleanliness, location and staff were great! Letting us check in early for a minimal fee was nice as well. Altair restaurant had a delicious brownie for my daughter and bubbly Proseccco for me for a nice night cap after touring the city! Highly recommend! Negative: There wasn?t a lot of options for snacks at the ?Cafe?. I didn?t understand how to use the ?perks? of the resort fee for the Citi bikes and forgot my card when we dined at the restaurant so didn?t get the discount but it wasn?t that big of a deal for us!
We recently stayed here for our anniversary trip to NYC. We absolutely loved this hotel. Staff were so welcoming. As soon as you walk in the hotel smells wonderful. I had read on other reviews that elevators were an issue here, but they must have updated them as they were the most convenient elevators I have ever used. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade our room for our anniversary and even left a little treat for us! The rooms are a little small as was expected for New York, but it didn't feel cramped at all, more of a cozy vibe. The bathroom was a good size. We had a city view, and it was beautiful. The bed was comfortable. Great location with a quick walk to theatres, food and time square. I would absolutely book this hotel again next time we are in New York!
Perfect New York City Hotel. Rooms are small (expected for a midtown hotel) But everything is clean and space efficient. The front desk staff are very polite, profesional. The views from many rooms and the rooftop terrace are incredible, you are able to see from the Empire State Building to Hudson Yards. My only complaint was that while we were there the key cards were not working so security had to let you into your room as well as the key card enabled elevators.
