Ardmore Lakes RV Resort

Great RV Park!! Our 6th or 7th time there. We make sure to plan a night there on our winter trips to and from Texas. The park is superbly maintained, and the lakes(ponds) are really pretty and all the shorelines are mowed and kept clean. I just love taking walks around them. They have what appears to be a really nice swim area with two slides into the water. Unfortunately for us December and early March are not swimming weather. I'm guessing the fishing ponds are good fishing too, as when I walk around them I see lots of fish rises. The hookups are all very good and again well maintained. My 13-year old AmStaff has terrible arthritis and I thought a quiet swimming lake would be an awesome break for her. And it would have been had there been some type of ramp or beach. Her 50lbs were difficult for me to lift out on to the diving dock. But the water and amenities were spectacular.| We walked around the “lake” every morning while dodging layers upon layers of goose poop. I know that’s inevitable, but be sure you bring shoes! LOL! There is a lively koi pond that smelled awful, but had well maintained and pretty landscaping. We found the shade of a nice tree in soft grass relieves the Oklahoma July heat.| The RV sites were below average in my opinion. I like level, mowed and not swampy. I realize though, and understand, that what I’m paying for are the “resort” amenities

We stayed in our RV at Site 42 it’s was a Great pull through with Lake view. The managers at this campground are so very friendly. They keep a clean, well maintained campground. I know we will be stopping again and for a longer visit! Sites big, level and we had a patio. They have a good gym and a storm shelter for all of us if needed.

Right from the beginning I was made to feel welcome, and the facility was just as excellent as Cameron, one of the General Managers! He came out late on a Saturday to check me in, get me to our spacious, level, concrete site overlooking the lake. Then he even helped me with a jumpstart for my toad and showed me how to clean all the corrosion off the battery terminals and how to keep the corrosion away! There aren't many places and people like this spot just outside Ardmore. We'll definitely stop here every time we pass by.

Quiet, clean , very well maintained and managed! Staff very friendly and guest oriented! I LOVE the pet friendly atmosphere and attention to their needs as well! Easy access to interstate and close proximity to town yet in a secluded setting for family fun! I recommend this place to ALL travelers to this area! IT IS WELL WORTH THE VISIT!
