Aqua Hotel

We from Australia stayed there 4 nights loved the area around ,well we were greeted by a grumpy older woman not very helpfull took ages to fill in details found out we were on second floor no lift very bad start, asked for help as we both females had 2 heavy cases we had been on a 14 day cruise, told no one to carry luggage to 2 lots concrete stairs, so no help there was a struggle, room was big but basic, door was warped very hard to close, bathroom was a health hazard very slippery bath in shower terrible water in drain kept coming back up with hairs disgusting, no shelf for toiletries, sink was loose room was very bright at night no blockout blinds Then told by front desk grumpy woman couple times we had to pay resort fee for chairs and umberella we did not want to use, spoke to o

Positive: Location was great right across street to public beach access. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping Negative: Was fine overall. Just no extras just a room. It looks like it's of been an original old 1960s motel with a small courtyard in middle. Furniture in room looked like ikea? Had to ask for remote to work the AC. Wish they would have just given it to us.

We stayed here for 2 nights went on a cruise and then stayed 2 nights in our return. First off this is an old hotel, the rooms are very old fashioned with old bathrooms. However this is an original art deco hotel. It's genuine. It's not like a Hilton owned miami art deco hotel that's had the originality removed, this is original. The rooms are tired, but they are clean, the beds are very clean and comfortable and the staff are lovely. We would definatly stay again.

Room is a bed and TV, supposed to have a sofa bed and got a chair. Very disappointed. Walls are paper thin as I can hear my neighbor as though he is talking to me, while on phone. Unfortunately I booked this as a package through American Forces Travel, which did not know is Priceline, (for the flight) hotel was booked through Agoda also a Priceline company. I won't use a service like this ever again!!!! Overall value for the money, hell no! Id rather stay at a Cockroach Motel, Howard Johnson or Red Roof Inn. At least at those places I get what I paid for and can't hear my neighbor! Good location horrible room. I would not recommend staying at this location. I will I’ll be reporting this to American Express and the Florida Department of Health. The hotel is disgusting and the staff is awful. This has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Within the first 20 minutes, I had to move rooms because I wasn’t able to use my air-conditioning and there was no hot water. The staff claims that if you were in rooms 110 to 115 there is no way to control the AC. We had to move rooms, as you can see the blinds are falling off the walls, and there is mold in the windows. Again, no running water and our sink. This also is the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered in this industry,
