Anaheim Maingate Inn

The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in room 105, bottom floor, it was one of the newly upgraded rooms. The room was equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker and cups, two beds, nice size closet, TV, and a small microwave. The room is close to the Disney employees entrance but we weren’t allowed to walk through parking lot to get to downtown Disney. Parking at hotel was an extra $10 per day and they charged a $100 dollar refundable deposit.

Short and simple I would not stay here again. We arrived Friday night around 10:30. Started off good, room was clean and decent for the price. However, waking up Saturday morning, getting ready to go to Disneyland, we had no hot water. Called the front desk and said that they have had other people call to say they also didn’t have hot water. Okay fine, we’ll take quick cold showers. Go to Disneyland all day, come back at 11:30pm and we want to shower and we STILL don’t have hot water. It seemed there was no urgency from management to fix this issue when talking to the front desk person. Keep in mind that this is a MAJOR health code violation. Spend the extra $20-$30 on a better hotel and be guaranteed hot water.

I absolutely loved this hotel, it’s a hidden Gem! The staff here is amazing, and helped us out so much! My wife and I arrived two hours before check-in time, and they didn’t even charge us to check-in early! It is a bit of a distance from Disneyland; however, they have papers at their front desk on how to get to a free shuttle, if you don’t mind walking approximately fifteen minutes. My wife and I used Lyft and Uber, which cost us approximately $15 dollars a day, for the trip to the park and back. We were here five days and were able to save more money doing the Uber/Lyft than spending way more money on a hotel that you could just walk five minutes from. The fridge and microwave are these retro looking ones, totally awesome! The room was so fantastic, and the bed is heavenly! Literally one

the reviews are dramatic i had an amazing and pleasant experience here!!! the room didn’t have any smell, there was minor specks of dirt in the corner/crevices of the wall at the baseboard but nothing at all to worry about. the parking was $7 super convenient and cheap i got it when i arrived. we had a $100 security hold that was returned in less than 1 week time super fast. the neighborhood is quite. it’s a $7-$12 ride to Disney, to walk all day and Disney and walk home is doing too much anyways if you wanna walk go ahead it’s not too far at all. the bed is cozy enough the reason i feel like people complain is because it doesn’t have a big comforter, it’s just sheets and a felt blanket underneath. the front desk was nice and helpful. my only complaint would be give more updated panfli

My husband requested additional hangers for our room. He was told that we were only allotted 4 hangers per room. We also asked for additional towels- and similarly were told no. Day 2: Arrived back at our hotel room after 3:30 and the room wasn’t cleaned. Went to the front desk and requested towels and was told that the cleaners hadn’t cleaned our room yet- and told again that I couldn’t have towels. No washcloth to wash my face. My husband went to the front office and asked for towels and told the front desk woman that the manager had said to contact him if we had more issues. The woman then called my husband a liar and said the manager never told him that. The front desk is beyond rude. The cleaners are very nice and gave us what we needed when the hotel management refused. Not
