Ameritania Hotel at Times Square

I booked a room at the Ameritania Hotel at Times Square because it was close to City Center where I attend dance concerts frequently. It was a good place for an overnight stay before heading back home the next morning. I booked a full bed room. The price for one night was great, $167.82 with all fees and taxes included. The room was very small which was not a problem for me as I was not looking for a big space just a place to hit the sack after the concert. It was very nice. The decor was great, the bathroom, and the great shower head was very soothing when I showered. There was no desk or place to do makeup but the great mirror in the bathroom was very well lit. No magnifying mirror. The bed was comfortable and the pillows nice and soft but also supported my neck. It was a 2nd floor room

Although it has been over a month since my wife and I stayed at the Ameritania between Dec 2nd through the 5th, I wanted to share with you how amazing your staff were. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant from the doormen to the maid services. As tourists in your wonderful city, they were as much our guides as anyone. Secondly, as I travel for work quite a bit, this was a top notch room with a very comfortable bed (usually not something I get in many hotels). Above everything, I wanted to pay respect to Majid at the front desk. He was AWESOME! Not only did he check us in but was amazing throughout with suggestions and very helpful and kind. He is truly a gem for your hotel guests. I'm sure there is no request or question that he has not heard, but he was very patient and pleasant

Me and my boyfriend had the most amazing stay at the Ameritania! Check-in was super fast and the front desk even let us check-in early and upgraded our room for free the day we arrived, assuming this was because it was during the slow season after the holidays but we were super grateful! |The location was absolutely perfect around everything. |The atmosphere of the hotel was nice and they even offered a free wine hour from 5-6 which was awesome. |The room we stayed in was big and super clean and had an amazing view of the city. This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. Staff is very nice, location is good, they offer a complimentary glass of wine daily and water. However, rooms are tiny and gloomy. Our sheets were stained and the door of the bathroom did not close. They do not have any restaurant/food/room service available (we stayed there because of the blizzard and believed we could have some food).

My wife & I stayed 14 nights at the Ameritania through the snow storm period, we were very comfortable througout the cold nights as heating in the room worked well. The staff were very helpful & polite, including security personnel & the cleaning staff ☺️. The room was small as I expected, but definitely satisfied our needs. Bathroom was very clean & kept this way by the cleaning staff, thank you. Hotel location, well was perfect, close to the Broadway shows, Central Park, Rocketfeller & many restaurants of all options. Hotel is priced quite reasonable for it's location. I would consider another stay if visiting NYC again & recommend the Ameritania to others.
