Americourt Hotel

My family and I stayed there this weekend. It was amazing! The staff was super friendly. Our room was very clean. The hotel smelled really good. I love the rustic feel. I love the rocking chairs in the lobby. I loved looking at the lobby over the rail on the second floor. We had coffee in the morning. The hotel is in a very convenient location and is very easy to find. We will be staying here for now on anytime we are in the area.

The front desk manager is great. She was very accommodating. They are undergoing a remodel and when they are finished it will be nicer. Good value

The people that run this hotel are absolute lunatics! I booked a room for a business colleague and they flat out denied him a stay - on a Sunday night with no other options. They were convinced that just because his first name was the same as someone who had written "the worst review ever", that it must be him! Untrue. He had never been in Mountain City, much less in this hotel. What a nightmare. AVOID at all costs.

We reserved 7 rooms. Most smelled really bad, like mildew. My room had wet carpet from window a/c unit leaking, extreme mold smell. I told front desk and no one checked on room or tried to wet/ dry vac the water up. All booked & no other opening in town. Window didn't close completely at top. Water stains in just about each room. holes from prior leaks in walls. Mold in bathroom and cracks around tub. I had to go to grocery store and buy several cans of Lysol, room air fresheners, odar removing candles. I sprayed 3 times a day, and just mask smell. They advertise breakfast buffet with eggs, but said they were having issues getting eggs from suppliers. I mentioned store was a mile away and they sold eggs. When eating in lobby, we had to ask for table to set up to eat, and they d
