AmericInn by Wyndham Wisconsin Dells

Stayed here for a weekend trip with my family. The hotel has a great location that is close to everything in the dells. They offer a free breakfast that is actually pretty good with several options. Also the staff is very friendly and accommodating. That being said, the rooms need some serious updating. Some investment in new furniture and bedding would make a huge difference.

Positive: "" Negative: Parking lot was dangerously icy, dining area felt cramped, faulty door lock, pool water was too cold to use, and the gym was inaccessible due to a dead door battery. Improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the guest experience.

We had a wonderful time at Americinn. Customer service was excellent, lady that worked on PM shift 11/7 and 11/8 was very kind and polite. |Pool was very clean and warm and it was nice that they have a splash pad, the hot tub was a plus! Breakfast was very good and many options to choose from. Our room was clean and smelled good! No complaints! Will definitely stay here again.

stayed at this hotel recently, and while the stay itself was fine, my experience afterward was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I left a personal item behind in the room. When I contacted the hotel to try to retrieve it, I was treated very poorly—especially by the manager. He was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. During our conversation, he hung up on me and even accused me of being rude, which was completely uncalled for. I was simply trying to recover a forgotten item and expected basic courtesy and understanding. Instead, I was met with disrespect and hostility. This situation could have been handled so much better with simple professionalism and kindness. Customer service is extremely important, and sadly, this experience has made me hesitant to stay here again. I would not

We went on a Christmas family vacation and were very disappointed with our stay. At check-in, staff cared more about signing us up for a Wyndham timeshare than informing us that major amenities were not working—all while we had four kids waiting patiently. We were not told the pool heater was broken, the workout room card reader wasn’t working, or that the quarter machine was broken, meaning the pool table couldn’t be used. The claw machine still had Halloween toys and rock-hard candy. The pool was the main reason we chose this hotel, yet it was freezing and later completely closed. We also had ongoing issues with our room key cards and door batteries. Breakfast was poor—anything cooked was either overcooked or had no taste.
