AmericInn by Wyndham Bemidji

We stayed at AmericInn by Wyndham Bemidji as a family, and it was a great choice for our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Check-in was smooth, and they were patient and friendly with our kids, which always makes a difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family to settle in without feeling crowded. The beds were comfortable, and everything felt well cared for. The pool area was a big hit with the kids. Having an indoor pool and hot tub gave us something fun to do without leaving the hotel, especially after a long day. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bathroom was functional for my handicapped husband. However, we were unable to use the pool or hot tub because their chair lift did not work. The staff could not find the battery for the chair and the connections for the battery were corroded, thus, it has not even been maintained.

Positive: Very clean and convenient. The staff was nice. Negative: Upon our arrival there was a group of men in the breakfast area drinking and playing games. They were loud and obnoxious, exchanging vulgar profanities that echoed through the hallways. It was like they were in a garage somewhere and out of control

Nice little place to stay. The rooms are small, but clean. The pool was perfect as we had 5 kids with us, there are round tables where we (adults) were able to comfortably sit and chat while watching the kids. Great breakfast! They also have different soup each evening. Cozy little area near the front desk. Since we had a quite a few family members stay here as well, it was a perfect space to be able to hang out. Also, very conveniently located!

Old hotel. Room was clean and supplied with toiletries and a number of towels. Refrigerator was a cold temperature. Room did not have a coffee pot but there was a coffee bar in the lobby close to the breakfast room. Breakfast was nice and offered many options for food and juice. Plenty of seating with tables. Most business was conducted online by email. The desk clerks only had to run a credit card. No elevator to second floor. Pool area was okay and temperature of water was comfortable - not too cold! Walking area south of motel. Restaurants nearby. TV worked great, too. Nice front desk employee. Had tourist brochures in lobby for use.
