Oak Haven Resort & Campground

We just spent the last week at Oak Haven. There were 6 of us. We were super impressed with everything. Matt was AMAZING! Everybody was gracious and kind. We loved every single minute of it. But, the kicker was the storm. It destroyed Bemidji. Matt had SO much stuff going on but he took the time to help us get my son's truck out from a tree that had fell on it. Thank you Matt! We, as a family, have been looking for "our spot" for our vacation and we have found it! Thank you again! We have been thinking about you since we left. Hope power is back and you are doing good! Oak Haven is a family fishing resort in the Bemidji Minnesota area right on the Mississippi River. They have both smaller and larger capacity rustic cabins. A perfect place for a relaxing fishing get away with river access to Wolf Lake, Lake Andrusia, and Cass Lake. These lakes have great fishing for Walleye, Perch, Pike, Crappie, Blue Gill, and every now and then an elusive Musky! There also is amazing Flora and Fauna in the area. There are Loons, Deer, Herons, ducks, muskrats, and many more species of wildlife seen frequently. Oak Haven owner Matt takes great care of each guest and is very accommodating. We have gone to Oak Haven each summer for a week for the past 7 years, and we look forward to continuing this wonderful family tradition! Come down and make some great catches and

My wife and I won a 2 night stay here at oak haven, and we will be returning every summer! Matt, the owner, was so friendly and made sure everything was ready for us. I had a couple requests about my boat and he didn’t hesitate to make sure everything was perfect. The location is absolutely beautiful right on the river, wild rice is right off the docks. We’ll see you next summer oak haven!

The Campground was Easily Accessible, clean and well maintained. We were greeted by Matt and Sarah, who were so friendly and hospitable ... Since they lived on the campgrounds it made them available to help in any way we needed. ||The cabin we stayed in was cozy, clean and close to the water with Strong Wi-Fi, and satellite tv on the flat screen. Overall, our experience was relaxing, enjoyable and memorable! I can't wait to go back again next year and stay longer!

This is our second year here and we were not disappointed. Matt and Sarah are the most welcoming people. So kind and helpful. Matt is an extremely hard worker and is always pleasant and friendly. Alway willing to get anything we need. The ice cream is the best and our kids are constantly down at the office getting ice cream. We will definitely be back next year!!
